tkeena makes electronic pop songs, as well as instrumentals from the experiments and discards of the songwriting process.
Strong-willed
tkeena’s early musical experiences were in classical piano music. Mostly avoiding lessons from his concert pianist father and the piano teacher grandfather. However, the piano fascinated young tkeena and despite his brilliance at avoiding to learn the instrument ‘properly’, he spent many hours pressing the keys and learning his own way into its wonderful world.
Today, the interest is still there and the piano features in some of tkeena’s music, alongside vintage and contemporary electronic instruments. Sounds and tones are important as well as notes and melody.
